Bossost, Spain, Gas In The Deisel and Throw-up

What a day we had yesterday. It was the plan to have a nice drive to Spain, have lunch, wander around a bit and come back to Toulouse. Who were we joking. Tucker was very very car sick yesterday. Not even 45 minutes in he was feeling terrible. We did everything we could for him besides turn around. The drive was gorgeous. The Pyrenees Mountain range runs along the motorway that we took. Yes I said the motorway(that's a freeway). The mountains are super tall and really a sight to see. It was really funny to cross the border line between France and Spain and realize that the French don't paint there stucco houses but in Spain they do. Bossost is almost like a Leavenworth. Very touristy but we ate a wonderful restaurant.  Ordering is pretty overwhelming when its all in French and some Spanish but with Don and Kate there we were able to order some very good dishes. Jim and Don had some lamb that was so good. Kate had lamb also but it was cooked differently and I was wishing I had ordered that. I had some awesome grilled shrimp and Tucker and Hailey both ordered chicken. All of the main dishes were so good. We also got some escargot.Everyone but Tucker and I ate it. We had our fill of snails earlier this week.
We also saw some mountain goats up in the mountains and also some stags on the way back. Jim of course was super excited. He had been looking for wildlife here every time we got in the car. So after a wonderful afternoon in Spain we headed back. Tuckers motion sickness was terrible and he ended up getting sick in the car. We all felt really bad for him. Shortly after we pulled off at a rest stop which all have petro and a snack shop type store. Well we all went in while Don pumped the DIESEL, because we are driving a diesel car. Unfortunately he put gas in the diesel. Oops. We had to call a tow truck who towed us to his shop emptied the tank and we were on our way. It was a fun day and even though some of it was stressful we all had a good time.We stopped off at the pub in Toulouse and I got to see how they pour Guinness and make a shamrock in the foam. Pretty creative.
