The Med-Perpignon

On Saturday morning(Friday evening for you) we left for Perpignon. It is a town on the Mediteranian Sea. Beautiful. Thats the only way to sum it up. Both the kids went in the ocean but Jim and I were wimps. The sun wasn't hot enough for us. We had some of the best meals we have ever eaten. The kids had a huge pot of mussels for lunch one day and Jim and Kate(stepmom) shared a lunch special which was shrimp, snails and raw oysters. We all tried the snails. Hailey and I didn't like them but everyone else loved them. We also ate the best lasagna. Yummy. The people in Perpignon are so friendly and we loved the atmosphere. There was a bar on the beach and we made a friend there, Anne. She was very nice and helpful when it came to trying to order drinks because we don't speak a whole lot of French.
