Victor Hugo Market & Mus'ee des Augustins

Because it was rainy and nasty here we needed to find something to do indoors. Jim's dad decided to take us to a market that is the bottom level of a parking garage. It is a food market with all kinds of meat and produce and a few places to stop and have an espresso or a bottle of wine. We actually tried blood sausage. Jim thought it was good, I thought it was pretty disgusting.Neither of the kids would even touch it. The poultry that is for sale has the heads and feathers still on so that you know what it is that you are buying. They also had whole pigs hanging. Jim found some little tiny octopus and bought a few to eat with dinner. He said they were pretty tasty. After the market we went to a beautiful museum (Haileys commets)"it had really cool beautiful paintings and sculptures that were pretty cool".It was the first museum that any of us had ever been too. The painting and Roman sculptures were so beautiful and a nice peek into the past. We came home and had a wonderful duck dinner. The food here is absolutely delicious.
